Gallas 26 Posted March 17 This server, as everyone knows, is 7 years old, and I've been a player here for 7 years since it opened. Since its launch, there have never been any changes, either as an in-game event or a permanent modification, regarding earning extra Ceramium Medals and extra AP. Even in the retail section, we had a really nice Ceramium Medal events, giving new players a chance to compete(like x10 time enterance of KKM in a day event etc.). This is a 7-year-old server; even the average player has 4-5 different equipment sets on their character. It takes a month for a new player to even build a BM set, let alone an AP set, which is almost impossible, especially if that player is an Elyos; because, as you know, Elyos can never truly dominate the KKM fortresses. In short, to make this server more welcoming to new players and to ensure fairness in competition, it's essential to implement processes that speed up the acquisition of certain PvP equipment. Open-world PvP is literally dead. There's nothing new, and furthermore, there's nobody new. We've been getting bored of playing with the same people for about the last 3-4 years. You need to create an environment where new players, even starting from scratch, can catch up in the competition. As I said, this could be making it easier to obtain a Ceramium Medal or making it more accessible through events. I'm not talking about unsustainable systems like getting 1 Ceramium Medal for 60 BM in a PvP event. This could be something like; the 3 daily Ceramium Medal quests that came in version 4.7, or adding an NPC where we can convert 20-30 BM into 1 Ceramium Medal. Or it could be expanding the reward pools for PvPvE events like siege/swb/kamar/jmr/runa and giving more Ceramium Medals. It's entirely up to your creativity. But I want you to know that as a player, this is not a very attractive server for attracting new players. New players have no chance of competing; they need to have been actively playing for at least 6-7 months to be eligible, which makes the game quite boring and leads players to quit. Please do something to make it easier for new players to acquire AP equipment faster and more easily, and to earn Ceramium Medals and Abyss Points.Instead of short-term, truly ineffective events, we need sustainable and lasting real solutions. Cheers.
goodwin 94 Posted March 17 Man, a lot of people have already left this server. I sometimes check out the forum just out of curiosity. It’s always the same old topics—like how Elio can’t beat KKM—and tons of posts about cheaters that the admins never respond to. I started playing right from the beginning too, but unfortunately, it’s just not fun to play anymore.
Sugar1111 1 Posted March 17 I began playing on the server 3 weeks ago and my motivation is already slowly depreciating. I exclusively enjoy pvp content, in which I can barely participate; and even when I do, its a one-shot story. Furthermore, even adding SWB/EB scrolls in the game (more pve yeiii), could potentially speed up the process, or anything really. Props to raising this topic and thank you. Hopefully, something good will come out of it!
Gallas 26 Posted March 17 For example you added a new solo PvE instance which is Baruna Research Laboratory, you could add some ceramium or AP relics drop in the boss according to the degree of the boss.

Does AP equipment mean end-game gear? Notice I didn't say anything about Tempering Solutions. There's a significant difference between full AP and full +5 gear, I think you're unaware of that. Because having AP gear at least offers some competitive advantage for new players. Of course, I don't expect you to complete AP gear in as little as 3 weeks. But I also don't think it needs absurdly long periods like 7-8 months. I like your perspective, but from your comment, I understand you enjoy winning against undergeared players, which is, of course, a different story. Thats makes sense why you think this server doesn't require an update about gear progessing. 19 minutes ago, realxcz said: did you want to play 3 weeks and win vs best geared players at jmr? just apply later and fight less geared players aaaaand my lil bro thinks aion is just about jmr or other PvP instances lol.
Anxiety 57 Posted March 17 (edited) However this is mainly an elyos/playerbase problem. Getting full ap armour, ap weapon(s) and ap accessories takes around 2-3 months if you play as asmo whilst on elyos it takes 6-9 months depending on the class and player. If this is to add more content then sure go ahead and make up something new but if it's mainly for gearing it should be treated as ontop of extreme scenario as is the situation now. If you are already netting 20 medals/day from playing asmo it will be close to game breaking to push that up with 3-5x/day and as side effect you'll exacerbate the issue of faction balance cause if you can gear up in 1 month on asmo while it takes 4 on elyos, not a single newcommer will pickup elyos. The recommendation i made in a different post was to add quests with a limited repeatability, it is wihtout doubt the best option because it puts a limit to the boosted farm and keeps it in the early game phase without affecting faction balance etc. the last thing to say is that this is afterall an mmo and it's a player faction vs player faction mmo. Expecting to be up to speed with gear level in a few months is just not a good idea and it borderlines of spoilt arrogance. Gearing afterall is what keeps people playing which is why you can see all the instant max gear servers die out in 1-3 months. The issue is finding the right balance. i.e not making the gearing fast enough so it becomes a pointless process while also not making it long enough so that more people quit than start playing. Yet again however, this is mainly an elyos problem and mechanical interventions to fight player based problems should be treated with caution. NightFear 14 Posted March 18 If they added the SWB scroll and limited the 100 GP quest to a daily limit—meaning even if someone entered SWB 10 times a day, they couldn't complete the 100 GP quest more than once—this would both support new players and generate revenue for the game's treasury.
