Inggision/Gelkmaros changes

Recommended Posts

Good morning,

Because of the changes in Inggision/Gelkmaros sieges it is impossible to finish craft for lvl 53 Master hats. I have a proposal. If the materials needed to finish were available 2 each in both side of forts. I've been waiting over a month for a change and it is frustrating beyond measure. I'm talking about Master Carved Corundum Glasses, 1. Carved Red/Blue/White/Green Master Fragments.

Best regards,

Did you guys give it much thought, is it sth you'd implement? I need to emphasize the situation is due to changes you guys made, it would only be fair at that, let me know what you think.

You can still purchase these items from NPCs within fortresses, but I've passed your request on to the administration. Perhaps they'll consider it in the future.

Morning,

Any progress so far?  It's been 2 weeks, any news? I'd like to underline, that the situation is the byproduct of the changes you guys made ingame, it would be only fair.

Best regards,

Chiriki

Hey,

Another 2 weeks have passed, I'm wondering if anything has been discussed about the topic at hand. I'm not asking for much to be honest. You guys made changes with sieges fine, but you disrupted at the same time ability to get necessary items, i only kindly ask you to provide an alternative WHATEVER it may be.

Hello,

I'm checking in again after nearly two months since the issue was first raised, and unfortunately there's still zero progress.

I'm a long-time dedicated player who's been with you guys for years. I truly respect the work you do to keep the server well maintained and alive for so long. However, I still can't understand why this simple request keeps being denied.

I get that the old Ingg/Gelk sieges weren't attracting much attention, so you created this new event and made it weekly — that's great. But as a side effect, both forts have now been in single hands for around three months now. This has completely ruined Gelk/Ingg-related crafting and the fort-related quests.

All I'm asking for is a little help to bypass the problems you created. A fix would require nothing more than some good will on your end. Are we really asking for too much?

Hello,

Before you needed to capture all the 4 forts to get those. Now you still need to capture all the 4 forts. What has changed?

Hello,

I'm glad you asked.

I understand that the requirement is still the same, you need to capture all 4 forts. That part hasn't changed on paper.

However, in practice something big has changed because of the new weekly event. Before, the Ingg and Gelk forts changed hands relatively often, it was possible for people to contest them and complete the related content. Now, thanks to the new event, one fraction has been holding both Ingg forts continuously for 3 months now.

This has made Ingg-related crafting and the fort-specific quests impossible to complete for everyone. Many players are stuck and frustrated because a big part of the content is effectively locked behind a permanent monopoly that didn't exist before the event was introduced.

We’re only asking for a small bypass or workaround, ability to buy fort-specific craft items elsewere.

It would mean a lot to the community. Would you be open to implementing something like this?

Hi, I'm also a long-time player and I want to clarify something: items crafted with those materials aren't tradable and are low-level, so nobody will profit from this.

Please implement a solution, thank you.

Hello

This isn't the only issue with the crafting materials; the final campaign quest is also impossible because the fortress is permanently under Asmodian control.

The NPCs you need to talk to are indeed located in the main fortress in Inggion, next to the building housing the trade agents.

However, the items can ONLY be used within their respective fortresses. I suspect the same problem exists on the Asmodian side. Changing this would certainly be possible, though not easy, but how about simply moving the area to where the NPCs are located?

Hello again,

Another week has passed, and I'm still waiting for a responce. I'm trying to have a conversation here since February, for you to do sth that feels like a 5 min job and costs nothing. Let us know what we can count on from your end.

@Chiriki I side and support you;

Topic Up.

I don't know how those fort sellers are coded, but according to amazing content already added to upgrade the game compared to former 4.6 (lose xp item is my favorite as twink <3 thank you). I think putting this NPC's back or find a way to get crystals would make all crafty friends scream. <3

Both faction camps on having 2 forts only, getting 4forts is something.

Do you have any ideas for how to get those crystals in a side way which is not broken and yet still challenging ? Here mine :

- Make them buyable with Deamon token (asmo) and Fortuneer token (ely).

- Introduce essence-tapping ring for masters that can make you gather crystal (with x%... of luck) from Laterite, Turquoise and Corindum.

- Make them buyable with a limit per day by secret design shugo sellers of inggi and gelk.

If I'm not mistaken (and I might be, since I don't do the Ingisson Siege), the fortresses pass Balaur with every siege! Instead of doing that, couldn't you make it only every other week? Or perhaps run the Ingisson Siege twice a week? This would allow the fortresses to rotate and Balaur to pass once a week (although I find this pointless because the fortresses would just keep running anyway since we're only on one RVE).

Hello,

The crafting materials can now be purchased without obstacles.

I don't know exactly what they are called in English—in German, they are called the "Stone Obelisk" and the "Special Obelisk." I wanted to upload a screenshot, but unfortunately, it didn't work; there was some kind of error during the upload. But never mind. These are the two items you are supposed to use in the corresponding areas at the Dux of the Fortresses. I don't remember what happens next after this.
