Admin 479 Posted November 12, 2025 Dear players! EuroAion has been around for over 6 years — six years of adventures, raids, duels, and countless stories. You’ve achieved so much during this time — honestly, it feels like some of you have done it all. But lately, we’ve noticed activity starting to drop. And that’s okay — every project needs a fresh spark eventually. We feel it’s time to rethink where EuroAion is heading and come up with ideas that can make the game exciting and alive again. We really want to hear from you! What do you think could improve the gameplay? What kind of updates, features, or changes would bring back the fun and thrill? Maybe new events, some reworks — or something even bigger? Drop your thoughts and suggestions in the comments — every idea matters, and together we can shape the future of EuroAion ❤️
Punk Queen 0 Posted November 12, 2025 Maybe start thinking of upgrading the server to the next patch since a lot of players are already tired of this patch, why not bring in the latest classes to the patch as well? I know most people are talking about Aion 2. Sarpan and Tiamaranta has honestly become borning, no one farms there anymore.
Yukimichan 7 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) So, I don't quite understand why you're only making this post now. So many suggestions for improvement have been made in various forum posts, and they were either simply ignored, like IppI's suggestion for Makarna , or the standard response was always that it's a 4.6 server and no changes are being made. Just recently during the Chaos debate! Therefore, I'll just say what I think most people would like: something that isn't that far removed from 4.6 is an update to 4.75. Since we saw in the Akaron event that everything is already in the database, including items from 4.8+, an update to 4.75 wouldn't be a huge undertaking, but it would significantly expand the content with Runa HM, Runeshieldtowert HM, and perhaps the daily invasions would be slightly restricted to weekends or every other day. But if you're really willing to make changes, there are so many suggestions in your forum that have all been ignored. Old_dog 6 Posted November 12, 2025 4.8 class balance (not the entire patch) Akaron map with daily pvp activities.
Ravenn 3 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) Ban people who deserves to be banned or gp cut like Zerados or others trading chaos arenas, maybe then people will be able to do rank normally. Also update to 4.75 would be nice with permanent akaron, ability to enchant gear to +20 with omega stones and more siege, event content Edited November 12, 2025 by Ravenn

Furthermore, there are much worse things that need to be punished, like cheating with system.cfg or other programs. Like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJe-fldUXnw There's already a Chaos post where the admins have clarified that no rule violation has occurred. What we can discuss further here is how to change Chaos and not leave it as it is now, or how to prevent players from leaving arenas. miuchrain 4 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) I will present my suggestions for both PvP and PvE players under two main headings. PvP Players The most important issue is that open-world rewards are too weak. This server has been active for many years, and most players have already completed their gear. People are tired of doing the same things repeatedly. → Daily quests that encourage open-world PvP should be added. These should not be temporary events, but permanent features that keep players engaged. Sieges need an improvement update. You should give players a reason to attend sieges. Currently, only those who want to farm rank points participate — everyone else skips them. Overpowered and frustrating classes should be nerfed. The current class balance heavily favors a few classes, which ruins the PvP experience for many players. Godstones MUST be nerfed. Many people have stopped playing this server because of the absurd and unfair activation rates of godstones. It’s one of the biggest sources of frustration. You must take action against unfair Honor Point farming and no-animation hacks. These issues damage the integrity of the game and demotivate honest players. (Optional but impactful) — A modern gear-swapping macro system should be integrated into the game. This would improve gameplay fluidity and make combat more dynamic. PvE Players You should give people a reason to run forgotten dungeons again. You can either add new dungeons or update the rewards of existing ones to make them relevant again. Retention of new players (very important). Most long-time players already have fully geared characters. New players need more support to upgrade their accessories and gear — otherwise, you’ll never be able to attract and retain new players. (Listed under PvE but affects both sides) — Honor Point resets should happen monthly, not yearly. This would significantly increase competition and give players motivation to farm rank points. You could also consider adding Glory Point rewards to existing dungeons to further encourage participation. If you take these suggestions serious, PvP players will return to the server, and new players will have a reason to stay and play. Otherwise, the same small group of players will continue playing, and the overall population trend will keep going downward. Thank you. Genzi 4 Posted November 12, 2025 Hello, I'm a player playing EUROAION in Korea. Since AION is a game developed in Korea, I've been playing in Korea for a long time. Most players enjoy both PVP and PVE, but most AION players enjoy PVP. While some enjoy PVP with rules like ARENA/EOB, many prefer PVP in OPEN WORLD. If PVP were enabled in OPEN WORLD, many Koreans would flock to the game. First of all, I think the previous Gerha event was a great attempt. Creating EB and IS entrances and placing bosses in each area was very effective. However, aside from that, players probably didn't find a reason to be there. If the SAURO entrance and BM quests had also been made available there, Gerha would have been able to maintain an active server by encouraging players to participate in both PVP and PVE. And then there's the issue of equipment. Releasing new equipment is another solution. However, tempering accessories consumes too much Kinah, so it might be a good idea to consider crafting weapons or armor instead (the gear value is slightly higher than the existing Abyss gear). There are many opinions, but first, we need to consider whether the game is enjoyable to play, and we need a way to activate the main content, PvP. Instead of meaningless Shugo events, we could consider a chest that randomly grants Tempering and Stones if you get over 100 kills a day. Various options are possible. As a Korean, my English is limited, so I used a translator. I hope my opinion is conveyed well.

Otherwise, the Aethertech Gunner and Gladiator classes will become even stronger, and playing Ranger, Assassin, and Bard would be pushed even further into the background than it already is. When an Elyos gets an Asmodian premade party, it usually consists of 4 Clerics, 2 Gunners, and 6 Gladiators, which is completely unbalanced. Classes like Bard, Ranger, and Assassin have no support in that environment. Therefore, new content must not introduce additional gear but rather simplify the upgrading of existing gear so that Elyos can once again keep up with the masses of fully +5-equipped Asmodians. Alternatively, a new patch could be needed where class balancing is redistributed.
Anxiety 57 Posted November 12, 2025 So to make this more readable i'll just divide it up in: What could improve gameplay? What kind of updates, features or changes would be fun and thrilling? Events and reworks. Bigger changes Gameplay Nerf certain classes to unlock others. Like in this post: If you want the gameplay to improve and expand beyond what it is now. In other words glads, AT and gunner being played in everything then these kinds of changes needs to be made. If you main ranger, bard or even sorcerer and you come to this server you quickly come to the realization that the amount of gear and effort you have to put in is that of x100 of these classes due to lack of balance. What is not featured in my old forum post is what to do with AT and AT is quite simple to handle which is to nerf the passive resist to everything it has so classes like assassin or chanter doesnt have resist risk on their stun/kd buff skills. Other things needed to be done with gameplay is to take a look at certain content which needs to be changed and or updated. The gp system to start with have way to many abuseable loopholes which the Arena of Chaos discussion shows. Letting a whole faction get ruined because certain players win trade everything just leads to exactly what i wrote about in this post which is also what you can see on elyos with no one bothering to make any parties for 6v6 or 12v12. So gameplay wise arenas needs to be updated and the update is quite simple. Get rid of Arena of Chaos. There are some other changes that are linked to this but they will come further down under Bigger changes. It should also be mentioned that 4.6 gameplay as a standalone patch is probably the best out there. 4.8 servers never lasts cause of the meta lock in group pvp (namely cleric, bard, sin comps or cleric, cleric, chanter, bard, templar, sm etc) and the recent survey and discussion on the most populated 3.9 server regarding updating to 4.6 proves this point further. So the gameplay should not stray far away from 4.6. Updates, features or changes There is no need to go into the patch progression track. Main point to play this server is cause it is static compared to classic or retail. Patch progression has it's benefits such as new content and change of game mechanics etc but it alienates every player that does not want to start from 0 again or do heavy refarming. So stay with the 4.6 core, means do not update/add gear/items and do not change class mechanics even though do perform class balancing by reducing the damage of gunner+gladiator and the rng factor of aethertech to enable literally every other class. However some of the game's content needs updates. The match making needs an update, there is no reason beyond coding that should lock this server to only having elyos vs asmodian in 6v6, 12v12 and 24v24. All of these instances needs to get updated so you can matchmake interfaction (elyos vs elyos, asmo vs asmo). There is another 4.6 server that has done this and even if the sourcecode is different this should be possible by translating and exporting how Arena of Harmony is setup to work. Which brings us to the next update. For the love of god update Arena of Harmony so degenerate grifters can't snipe you and leave to deny rewards. Fighting no one should not give the full reward but you also should not lose because the enemy leaves. So update Arena of Harmony to give ticket+bundle with the same gp as arena of discipline when someone leaves. Sieges.... Sieges on this server are in need of a big update. Siege is 1h of content per day if done correctly but on this server it has turned into 10 minutes of gp rush and then nothing. So the change is simple, first of all fix the issue in pradeth so we do not spot dredgion commander at SwB camp and issue a weekly or monthly based fort reset into balaur. More about this further down. Events and reworks For the events the playerbase enjoys, just keep them but update the loot. Simple as that. This is also very easily meassured by just tracking amount of players online during each event. Secondly, since we now have parts of 4.8 in the world.pak and item.pak files the events should be in there as well so why not use them? You just need to get rid of the 4.8 drops such as imperial accessories and archangel wings to prevent patch breakage. Bigger changes Add HWID locked entries. That would mean that the player can not match against their second client. I know that there are people with multiple pc's like myself but this is a good first step. To take the best example, it would make it a lot harder for the worst players on the server to win trade arenas since they would need to find 5 additional players/pc's to queue for Arena of Chaos to open. Siege reset. Add a 7, 14 or 28 day fort reset into balaur to keep sieges alive. The reality now is that whenever one faction holds all 3 upper abyss forts then it takes a long period for the opposite faction to even try taking them or in the case of katalam/danaria siege, then it is over in 10-15 mins since majority of elyos do not bother with pradeth and a lot of people are logging asmo alt for it. A 3 or 6 month based gp period. That would mean that the gp gets reseted every 3 or 6 months. I wont write the whole thing again because it is available at: Add future patches content with 4.6 rewards. Pretty simple, you add 4.8 pve with the best 4.6 rewards or unique skins. Open world. You should either add gerha or make katalam and danaria according to: Blood mark npc for both new and old player. again i will not bother to rewrite everything when i can just post: Pve ranks. Same goes here but to TL:DR, not only tryharding pvp should be rewarding but players that enjoy pve should also be rewarded for tryharding pve. Skins. I know that a lot of skins are hard to make compatible with euroaion's sourcecode and that is ok but you really need to start adding more cosmetic things to stay competitive with other populated server. One is importing straight from latest classic patch and the other is using custom cross item type skinning. This server has neither and improving the cosmetic aspect will both attract people and yield funds. The last point i would like to emphasize is standards, principles and fairplay. No one likes to play fair and either lose, fall behind or get their game experience destroyed by people who are not and this is completely up to the administrating side. You have rules which we all agree on when we start this server and while it would be possible to have discussions about how hard to uphold some of them. When it comes to the strict gameplay related ones such as sniping your own alts for GP, the people administrating really need to do a way better job as previously mentioned by some players before me. If you are short staffed then recruit players to help. 27 minutes ago, Yukimichan said: First of all, let me say that no trading is currently taking place because there's actual PvP happening in Chaos right now; Shillin' and Zerados are really fighting in there. What we can discuss further here is how to change Chaos and not leave it as it is now, or how to prevent players from leaving arenas. No you are actually wrong. Admins or rather said forum moderator made a statement that no changes will be made about Arena of Chaos. There has been nothing said about these players breaking rules or not because it would take a blind monkey to make that statement. These players have and are breaking rules daily, any denial is just being delusional in favour of friends without the ability to read.
Bekinde 5 Posted November 12, 2025 1. It would be a good idea to first address game optimization and bugs, lag, geodata, etc. 2. Slightly change the class balance. Currently, after reaching maximum equipment, the strongest and most playable meta characters are glad/gunner/at. Many players have been lost to you because of this, who love characters like ranger/assassin/bard. Which are certainly playable here, but they lag significantly (assassin is the least playable, but has a problem with weapon range). 3. PVE content. Euro Aion has a heavy PVP focus, which, due to the meta characters, balance, and endgame equipment, shows a huge difference in balance. But everyone has forgotten about PVE CONTENT and the PVE players who are the most loyal and generate the most income through purchasing boosts and other items. It's worth keeping this in mind. 4. Let's also remember why many players love Euro Aion and what type of player we have here. Stable server With unchanging gear, no updates, and constant spending of a fortune on equipment changes – Euro Aion players are usually working people, and many like to play as a hobby or relaxation after returning home. If you create a situation where you have to acquire countless amounts of new gear or install a new patch quickly, I'm afraid this server won't survive. These aren't ideas; they're considerations worth considering before making rash decisions that will change inventory. I also ask you to look at the official servers to see why they're falling apart and what Euro Aion's greatest strengths are (stability and consistency). But there should also be great, addictive gameplay and character balance where each character brings something to the group, plus interesting PVE instances, PVP competitions for real money/PVE raids for real money or coins to win. A few of my friends left the server, for example, because they played bard/ranger and didn't They were invited to a PvP group and had trouble dropping endgame gear, for example, from SWB instances where, without premades and a lot of luck, there's no chance of getting the best gear for some classes. Just a quick note. Best regards. I believe that EURO AION will definitely flourish again with a little more interest from you and your reassurance that it's worth staying and having fun. Good luck and I wish you ingenuity.
adash 4 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) I know you’ve mentioned many times that your options are limited, but I think it would be great to give players a reason to run instances again - not just EB and Kata. By that, I mean introducing new sets, new medals or coins to farm, better gear, and tougher bosses. Maybe even harder versions of existing instances? I don’t know what’s available in the game files, but since you brought back Akaron, maybe there’s a possibility to reintroduce instances from higher patches? I’d also really appreciate it if you could go through most of the ideas shared here and comment on them - what you think about them?, what’s possible, what isn’t? and whether you’ve considered some of these things in the past. It would be a shame to let this topic just fade away. Reading above posts, sure - balancing characters or skills makes sense, but removing arenas or nerfing gunnes won't bring people back to this server. It's lacking new content and people are overgeared. Edited November 12, 2025 by adash
Zappy 0 Posted November 12, 2025 Hello! I'd also suggest a patch update to make everyone gear up again and make new PvPvE content, also gunner will be nerfed while some other classes will be boosted (bard if I'm right on 4.8) that will be super, I'd personally would like if LFG for PVE may be shared between factions, as the game is getting old and players are slowly mooving out of the game (in general not only our server) having the possibility to make istances between faction may be very fun and will make pve contents more active until late night, I know the suggestion may bring a lot of trouble, but maybe it could be possible for some pure pve content istances... Also there is a website created by a fellow player of the server: https://aion.pverank.uk/ I think will be super to add this system to the rewards of the server other than pvp to allow more competition on pve contents and challenge togheter the istances for best time or best method to complete it! Having new patch with istances etc will bring surely a lot of new players as gear will have a lvl up for everyone and adding few key contents will make everyone keep on going, I think also veterans as myself will not care much as gear in 4.6 and will just be a new content to play... Thank you for the post open to everyone, and gl reading everything out! ^^
NKA 1 Posted November 12, 2025 hi 1) Make Ceramium Medals tradeable — old players are already geared, and there’s too much content that new players can’t do because people in LFG only accept players with AP gear. So new players are just pushed aside. 2) 4.8 would be really nice 3) Nerf Godstones it is just frustrating for no reason (in PVP ofc)
adash 4 Posted November 12, 2025 Maybe to make PVE great again, as I know many players like PVE, introduce new currency which we can be farm on instances and buy consumables in dedicated NPC (making everything there untradeable, of course). Introducing BM/ Ceramium medal shop was great move, but we need something more than skins
Esddeath 47 Posted November 12, 2025 Reduce the templar's skill cooldowns or adjust them for all classes, and remove the many hackers in this game. How is it possible for a sorcerer to survive against more than 6 players in PvP, for clerics to never run out of mana, or for a gladiator to fully heal more than 3 times, something even a templar can't do? Also, increase the drop rate in this game because it is very low.

Knox 6 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) I stopped actively playing almost a year ago because I reached a point where I no longer had any content left to enjoy. In PVE, activities became repetitive: killing Hyperion, doing the daily SWB, and completing BM missions. On the other hand, PvP, in addition to being practically dead, was very uneven and frustrating. Classes such as Gunner, AT, and SM have obvious advantages over the rest, while others such as Ranger or Bard have been consistently ignored. PvP 1. Missions and motivation It would be beneficial to implement missions that encourage PvP in the open world, both in groups and individually. This would promote participation and dynamism between factions. 2. Class Balance The current imbalance between classes is evident. From the overpopulation of gunners to the scarcity of bards, a thorough review of the balance is necessary. Dominant classes (based on my personal experience): Gunner: deals excessively high damage and abuses the use of GS. Has advantages in both PvE and PvP. SM (Spiritmaster): Although easy to use, abuses fear. While there are ways to counter it, it remains a very powerful class. AT (Aethertech): Has virtually no counter class. Stands out for its high damage, resistance, and ease of use. Unlike the SM or Gunner, the AT has no class that directly counters it. Less played classes: Ranger: I don't have direct experience, but I've noticed that it's one of the least used classes. Bard: I consider this to be the most limited class. In PvP, it suffers from a clear disadvantage: poor skill optimization, low survivability, and dependence on level 50 gloves to obtain the necessary attack speed. In PvE, it is useful, but always falls short in terms of DPS compared to other magic classes. Its healing function is overshadowed by clerics and chanters. In addition, its silence skill has the longest cooldown of all classes (45 seconds). Its level 65 armor sets do not provide the attack speed that the class needs (should have). For all of the above reasons, it is necessary to review and adjust the overall balance of the classes, including how GS affects them. 3. PvP Instances PvP instances should offer more attractive rewards. Some, such as the Arena of Chaos, have been without players for years and could be removed or replaced with more useful content. When Runatorium was implemented, the original rewards from the instance were not included. So I thought, why implement the instance if it's practically the same? It was a disappointment for me. Incorporating those rewards (for example, the Cunax set) would motivate more players to participate. Including the Runatorium gloves would benefit classes such as the bard, who currently has to resort to level 50 gloves to maintain their performance, this is in case the bard gloves are not updated in their respective sets. In arenas, it is annoying when the opponent quits before starting and you don't receive the full reward. If the opponent leaves the arena before it starts or does not enter, the player should receive the full reward. 🔹 Sieges Currently, sieges have lost their purpose. Most players only participate to earn honor points; the strongholds themselves are no longer relevant, except to the legion that manages to conquer them. It even seems that there are agreements between players to negotiate conquests. Suggestions: Reset Balaur strongholds before each siege to generate more competition and dynamism. Grant additional rewards for actual participation in the siege, just as honor points are calculated based on individual contribution. 🔹 PvE 1. Rewards and farming It would be advisable to expand the methods for obtaining tempering solutions, cerenium medals, and AP. Some ideas: Allow the possibility of obtaining a tempering in SWB (raffled among the 24 players). Implement similar rewards in Cantalonice and other events. Maintain the Ghera map with new camps or instances for farming AP and cerenium. Implement rewards for killing bosses and mini-bosses on the Sarpan, Tiamaranta, and Inguison maps. Make it possible to kill mini-bosses without a group, as there are bosses that are based on groups, such as Omega. Killing mini-bosses on those maps would be great for players in general, but especially for PvE players or those who are just starting to gear up. And make the rewards useful, such as mana stones, BM, or some new item that can be exchanged for reward boxes. For example: NewItem x50 = 1 Eternal Box NewItem x100 = 1 Mythic Box 2. New instances and equipment evolution. It would be interesting to implement PvE instances from later versions, such as Makarna, along with a system that allows for the evolution of the Hyperion and Dainatum sets. There was an item that consumed experience to improve armor; something similar could be applied here. This would not only revitalize PvE, but could also have an impact on PvP, although it would need to be analyzed. 🔹 Future of the server and its version I would like an update to version 4.8 But I don't see it as necessary, and besides, many players would regret the loss of maps such as Katalam and Danaria. But they were able to implement Ghera, and it's a map that should be used a lot to add content and new events, which is something I forgot to mention. I think it's time to stop exploiting the same events year after year, especially since some of them are very boring, such as the Valentine's Day event and its poor rewards. And the Anniversary event shouldn't be just another event. They should consider the Anniversary to be the most important event and reward players with good rewards, not just candles that give buffs. Kyku 1 Posted November 12, 2025 I'll drop my 2 cents as a recently returned player: PVP GP: Reset them more often and consider wigling the numbers. Bastion giving 100 is (kind of) the core feature of Aion 4.6 but may be overtuned. Arenas are broken, it's basically an unplayable mode except for the top 5% of the population Penalize AFKing dredgions: Contributing with DPS, healing and other activities should give you the points while staying in base doing nothing should give the bare minimum. Currently winning gives aprox. 13 000 AP vs 8000 losing, and the gap between those that actively take part and those that don't is laughable. Sieges: TBH the current system is pretty fucked up so I'm not sure about what could be done to fix it overall, but at least forts should become balaur after a number of successful defenses (2 or 1?) to encourage rotation. Equipment is an issue and I don't know how to fix it but I'll flag it nonetheless. Currently any new player is just fodder for the first 5 months of the game as every tryhard has +15 doublemanastoned amazingness in every slot while newbies take even several weeks just to have an unenchanted, unmanastoned BM set. PVE Make more late-game instances relevant (looking at all of those entrances in the Underground I have never set a foot in) to encourage rotation. This can only be done through changing the loot these give into something relevant. Accesories could drop from more than Sauro (or maybe Sauro gives 3 parts and another one gives 2 parts, you know the deal) while others give manastones, skins/enchant stones, BM and other generally valuable resources as an alternative to solo-farming (remember guys, this is an MMO after all, so it's supposed to be social too!) General Balance between classes is non-existent. I don't have enough data or knowledge to tackle it in depth, it's more a (generalised) feeling. And also: bring the new visuals to Poeta. Does it add anything? Not really, but it's very pretty.
Sickboy 0 Posted November 12, 2025 You nerfed practically every event in some way or another By this I mean of restricting trade or deleting event items after a set period of time Just look at the Ice pick event, you can now only get the event wings once per year as all the ice picks were deleted, who wants to gear new charactor and wait until July 2026 for a chance to get the wings Constant trading in Chaos Arena by groups of players seems to be allowed Unfortunatly people vote by not logging hopfuly you can revieve the numbers
Owhal 6 Posted November 12, 2025 (edited) Stay with the same patch, but create PvP content and new events, maybe add some new maps with PvP quests inside, the PvE of this patch is already very well structured, we just need something that motivates players to move in open maps/siege p.s. the real aion ends at 4.6, the patches after that, it's another game, in fact we saw the end that the official one had. fenrisultor 0 Posted November 12, 2025 I joined EA in October 2024, and took a long break 3 months later because the gear gap between old and new players is absolutely insane, I will never catch up with people who have been on the server for 5 years, farmed the hell out of events back when the tempering drop rate was through the roof, and Sauro bugs to drop even more tempering solutions. I grinded my ass off to get full AP gear within 2 months, but it was still pointless as my accessories are +0, I get clapped in 2 seconds by +5 players and gunners...speaking of which, the classes are extremely out of balance in PvP. After my break, I came back and made a bard, which I love so much and enjoy a lot...BUT, absolutely no team would take me in PvP, and I am fully geared with composites, just no +5 because I don't have what, hundreds? thousands of euros to spend on cash shop to hopefully catch up with old players...As a result, I am forced to only do PvE as PvP on this server is an absolutely disgusting experience, but again, the droprate in PvE is not rewarding, Sauro 30min of my time for an L70, I havent seen a mythical jewelry drop since MONTHS in there... So I would say, based on my own experience, action should be taken to improve the gap between old and new players, improve event droprate, instance droprate, improve balance between classes and GS proc rate, democratize tempering because in my head, it makes absolutely zero sense that I have to decide "oh this Kamar we afk" because my opponent is some +5 elyos premade, or "cancel queue X premade has applied", like to me this is straight cancer I have never seen such buffoonery on retail, I used to enjoy PvP so much back then, PvP here is just unfair and frustrating, and PvE is mostly unrewarding with the 0.000001% droprates
Diantria 1 Posted November 13, 2025 Perhaps bring back the voting for server system to earn points towards items like mounts, etc. Also, consider going to 4.8 or even 5.0
