We do lack at the moment some new and fun pvp content. Try to add some of the later patches pvp arenas, maybe Runatorium. Also keep Arenas open all days/night without any tickets needed. Remove GP from them and "only" have ap. All the events that has been now latley are boring pve

Easy to show the p2w part, it's a matter if you belive me or not. (and agree) the drop bost and value packs. which you buy from store with Ecoins, sure you can buy it ingame from a player who payed real money for them. So the player who are selling ecoins are a p2w player (not judging), but a game like aion is a game there you need a lot of kinah to socket and enchant gear, to craft/buy things you need. So inorder to get kinah many on this server sell their ecoins for kinah. Just after you implemented the drop boost pack I did protest (directly to you and the admins), as many users ingame aswell said, it is p2w. the titels are also p2w. same with lucky vinnas, or the socketing aids. And don't say against me, beacuse then you clearly don't understand the concept of what p2w means.

i see your issue here whith people that farm arena per say however having top pvp ranks actualy belonging to someone that pvp´s would be a good idea on retail top ranks meant the top pve players on server that ran pve all day for the GP and sure you can say you want to keep this server retail like but if thats so then you have to add pvp arena tickets to the cash shop along whith bastion reset scrools i dont like idea of bastion scrools but hey retail like is retail like right ? you guys changed things so its not like retail. but others u refuse to change them and say this change would affect the retail like server. i think u can look at numbers of players and notice they are droping if we reach out here on forums is not becouse we hate the work u have done its becouse we love this game/server and we want to see it move foward but for now we are stuck in the mud. people whith somewhat of max gear have nothing to do we log in do 1 arena 1 eob 1 kamar log out sure idea of removing Bastion reset scrools was good. (props on that) idea of having to be a panda or lacking stats is not so good but fine we can manage the pain of being limited to every player having same skin apperance of a panda candy 1 arena per day is a bad idea might be enogh for some people but for others is not. giving away more tickets is not gona negativily impact the game in any way if anything the people that actualy like to pvp will achive the top pvp ranks and help on sieges becouse alot of people whith above 5 star rank dont even go to siege they just been running bastion since server started. why dont you try and start by giving away 1 ticket for every 3 hours loged in or 5 hours and see how it works u can give candys for being online im sure you can give away arena tickets too right?

Sorry Thealmighty, but "you" are allready way to close to retail. Specially in the department that nothing is happening. and in the deparment of not listening to users and being a p2w server Then I got a new suggestion for you, keep the daily tickets for arenas and those should give gp, but open up for free queses wihtout tickets that give ap. I think you would be supriced that ppl would most likley use it for a way to gain ap for gear/weps/exform and so on.

Think what you want, but Kono has a point. MMO's are just battle arena's these days. And the cheater-beater gear basically got rid of any reason to have low level alts for the rift. Just look at the slow and painful death of retail Aion and the fact that there are more people on private servers than retail. If players just want to level up as fast as possible, get free OP stuff at the start and just get to endgame for PvP then you would be on retail instead of here.

It's not working here anymore. If you post this 10 years ago most of the people would agree. League of Legends and every instant gratification game fucked up people's dopamine receptors so badly they want instant top gear on max enchant straight away.

Aggro is mainly dependent on DPS, the aggro skills and enmity + just supports it. The enmity - on the other classes is another factor that will help a bit (except when they do PvE in PvP gear...). So you don't have to worry about it at that level, get to 65, start gearing up and go DPS gear and stigma build (also work on your rotations and weaving). The only instance (PvE) you need to be in a defensive set and stigma build is DLR.

I don't know what is your friend wearing to loose agro in Sauro where most people are low gear. I've been a dps templar since I joined back in February, and I never had any issues holding agro on this server. And I've been a templar since 2.7 on EU Nexus. When I hit 65, I was in Kahrun's set with ancient coin greatsword in full dps stigmas and manastones. Tanked Kata in that set with some highly geared people in the ally with no issues at all. In Sauro I have no issues holding agro in 1k or 2k. Same for every other instance. Problem is your starter gear. It has no "Enmity +" which is why you can't hold agro at all. Get some proper PvE parts and you will be fine. Here is proof of me tanking kata in Kahrun's. My rotations and clicking is still terrible here This is me playing with a different mouse after 2 year break from Aion, and 4 year break from Templar

The game can handle the resolution as it works on NVidia 1080ti card, but you ran into problems with your card. Although it always starts in window mode for me, I can change it to borderless. My problem with the cryengine is that there is fixed limit on the maximum amount of pixels that the screen can have. For me on bigger resolutions than 1920x1200, some of the high quality options, f.e. shadow are grayed out in the options. This is an known bug that was later fixed. There is a fix for this but that requires injecting into the cryengine.dll which is not allowed with Anti cheat and you need access to the aion.bin parameters (https://github.com/zzsort/Aion-Version-Dll) Atm, I don't want to play on 1080 to have everything on, I don't even own a 1080 / 1200 monitor. To come back to your problem. The resolution and settings of the cryengine are mostly handled in the system.cfg file. This file is encrypted, but there are editors out there that allow you to edit it and save it (just goolge it, dps meters require the system.cfg to be altered to work). With some tweaking, you might be able to get it to work, but playing in fullscreen window isn't that bad, I have more of a problem with the loss of the quality settings. If you edit the sytem.cfg or SystemOptionGraphics.cfg, make sure you turn on the read only flag on the file, the game will overwrite it. And makes copies, as the launcher might remove them / remove the read only lock, so you can put them back.
