I'm new to this server and I'm not staying. The community is horrible. I try levelling and I get annihilated non stop. Pvp is fine as it's part of the game. But why humiliate players?

I joined 3v3 today. we were 2 level 64 and 62 against 3 asmos. Obviously we didn't stand a chance. But they killed us 40 times, not allowing even to move. What's the point?

I played on other servers and people were fine with newbies but here things like this happen all the time

Please clarify regarding these specific players — in your opinion, what behavior on their part toward you and your friends would have been more appropriate?

I'd really appreciate if they give us at least some time to move around. We are clearly newbies. Trying to understand the stuff.We were just spawning, cc, insta death. They killed us around 40 times. We obviously had 0 kills. They could give us at least some space to run around. Not asking to give kills or anything, but dang we couldn't move. Not even mentioning that we got almost no reward (which I am fine with cause we were just punching bags)

 

And this is just one situation. It's all across. I moved to Katalam and was killed twice in the main base near the trader (inside the building). They just fly through guards and wipe the newbies

I've been playing here for a bit over a year. People vary—some are a bit dumb, while others are decent. It's hit or miss. You can still enjoy the game, especially if you don't give a damn about people who try to insult you. Those who can easily kill you while mocking you probably have an inferiority complex in real life, since they try so hard to assert themselves at other people's expense. My sympathies are with you. 🙂

You go pvp bg at lvl 64 with no gear. You got overgeared ppl, a premade. Even if you would be able to get yourself buffed, you would die the same way and the same fast.

So, why are you crying? Do you assume ppl should sacrifice their win in pvp cuz u r new here?

I never said anything about them winning. I didn't expect them to give us kills or anything. My only complaint - they were 3v2 much stronger and just kept killing us without allowing to even run around. 10-0, 20-0 that's fine. By why humiliating by not allowing us to run and at least explore the map?

Arena and open world/pvp areas are very different.

1. They dont know your level in arena.

2. Arena has point system which scales in rewards so the more points = kills the higher the reward so on asmo where people actually care about gp/play that content it makes sense to max the rewards.

3. You can close arena earlier which might look silly but if you plan to do 3-7 entries then saving a minute in each entry can matter to some.

 

You also kinda picked wrong faction to be "newbie" on. Elyos is in general lower geared, lower skill, lower effort, lower activity, lower numbers, lower in game knowledge, lower in everything besides being afk in capital than asmo so if there is open world/pvp area there is a high chance that people will just rush to kill you without regard for your level since the kill quests give gp and gp reset was roughly 3 weeks ago and gp/rank > letting random low level do their business without any elyos pressence to challenge this kind of thing.
