Here's the hole in your own logic, the weak spot I already pointed at. You say noone would be sad? Then you don't know human psychology very well. The ones who get sad are exactly the ones who earned some rare achievement, only to see it easily wiped out in value. That's true for any social group, and Aion is no exception.

Uhm, what? What psycology has to do with this, seriously lol
I already said that for the topic listed here there is NO RARE DROP, so the problem is solved before ever arguing about that

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing you had eyes to actually read what I meant

I believe we've now reached a point where the most valuable thing we can do is keep the discussion focused on the idea itself rather than on each other.

It's completely normal to disagree. Different opinions are exactly what make discussions like this useful.

However, I don't think sarcasm, personal remarks, intentional contradictions towards the opposite of what the main message of the post is referring to, or assumptions about other people's intentions help us evaluate the suggestion objectively.

I'd really like to encourage everyone (including those who support the idea and those who oppose it) to focus on the arguments themselves and continue the discussion in a respectful and constructive way. always without intentionally contradicting what is obviously written in each message of the original post and can be seen with one's own eyes, giving rise to the appearance that we are only looking for a casual argument due to a lack of entertainment in our routine.

My hope is that more members of the community will join the conversation and share their own experiences and perspectives.

The more diverse and respectful the discussion becomes, the more useful it will be for the EuroAion team when evaluating this suggestion.

Thank you again to everyone who has contributed.

Yeah, fair enough, discussion is fine, especially if the text's actually written by a person and not just blindly pasted through an AI assistant. So let's sum up. The idea itself — clear enough. The filler — probably unnecessary (I mean the walls of text that don't really add any new info at this point). The criticism — it's been said. With the last one here we've still got a question mark. There's been a lot of text. But it's kind of about everything at once, and so far, unfortunately, nothing on the actual points I raised.

How can we introduce a guaranteed endgame PvE system without making veterans feel like their months of hard work were just thrown out the window?

Sorry I don't read all but if I take my exemple I m full I need nothing on my main charcter I see that , no problem is good ! When I see a ppl make like 100hyperion for have a set full or make 150-200 or more bastion for have a weapon or make RST / Runa for try to have a max stat, 6slot and +15 Please stop ! ok is private serv is always 4.6 but no ! Just you are full and ?? You have a item for change vs weapon or armor cool do it or no ! like that you can make other weapon or other amor , or chang this and dez ! but for new playeur that can be good

Hi!

I just want to make sure I understood your point correctly, because I think there might be a small language barrier, even though my own English isn't perfect either 😄

If I understood you correctly, you mean something like this:

You're already fully geared on your main character, so you personally don't need anything else.

However, you see many players having to run Hyperion 100+ times, Eternal Bastion 150–200+ times, or repeatedly farm RST/Runa trying to obtain the perfect weapon with the right stats, 6 manastone slots and +15 enchantment.

You don't think endgame progression should require such an extreme amount of RNG, especially on a private server.

A long-term guaranteed progression system would mainly benefit new players, while veterans who are already fully geared could still use it to work on alternative weapons or characters.

Is that what you meant?

If I misunderstood anything, please correct me. I'd like to make sure I understood your opinion correctly.

If someone's tired — fine, no big deal, let them take a break. The game isn't holding a gun to your head.

What's actually concerning is when someone doesn't fully grasp the consequences of their own "creativity," but still proposes changes as if they see the bigger picture better than the people running this thing systematically and professionally. That doesn't mean nothing ever needs fixing. But one person being tired of the grind isn't proof the system is broken for everyone.

Experience shows players don't always know what they actually want, even the ones who already have everything. Having it all doesn't make you wiser about how the whole system should work. Sometimes admins give in, and it's still not enough — first the drop mechanic breaks, then new complaints and requests show up. That's a known pattern: getting what you wanted gives temporary satisfaction, then it gets boring, and you want to "get creative" again. And that's the trap — enough of these changes stacked up slowly turns a normal server into something unrecognizable. Imagine a letter where every paragraph is written by a different person — each one might make sense on its own, but the whole thing loses any coherence or direction.

I think we've now reached a point where the core of our disagreement has become very clear.

First of all, I completely agree that any change to a long-running MMORPG should be considered carefully. Preserving EuroAion's identity is important, and I have never suggested otherwise.

However, I also believe there is a fundamental difference between discussing a proposal as it is written and discussing assumptions about what someone supposedly intends.

Throughout this thread, I have repeatedly explained that my suggestion does not aim to:

  • remove effort;
  • remove RNG;
  • hand out endgame gear;
  • or turn EuroAion into a casual server.

In fact, I have consistently defended the opposite. but in all your replies you just ignores all those of my points and use provocations and sarcasm towards me, as if you think that will make you to be more right than me, but this post is not about who is more right, is about the IMPROVEMENT OF EUROAION.

The proposal is based on preserving challenge while ensuring that, after a very long period of consistent dedication, players have a guaranteed sense of progression instead of potentially remaining blocked by RNG indefinitely.

If someone disagrees with that philosophy, that's completely fair.

Reasonable people can look at the same system and reach different conclusions.

What I don't think helps the discussion is repeatedly arguing against positions that have never been part of the proposal.

If we're going to debate the idea, then let's debate the actual idea, not a simplified version of it created by you just because you want. The only thing we've seen from you is that your sole aim is to randomly discredit everything I say through sarcasm and direct provocation since the first messages you wrote. If you want to give your opinion on something, do it from an impartial and polite perspective, and then we can maintain mutual cordiality in the post. It's not fair that everyone addresses one person politely, but that person addresses others as if they were less.

My motivation has never been my own experience alone.

Over the years I met many players who genuinely enjoyed EuroAion, contributed positively to the community, loved PvP and PvE, and eventually stopped playing after spending months (or sometimes even years) rying to obtain the last weapon or armor piece they needed.

Not because they disliked effort.

Not because they expected everything to be given to them.

But because they gradually lost the feeling that their effort was leading anywhere.

Those players were not just characters on a server.

Many of them were skilled players, reliable teammates and good people.

When they left, the server lost active PvP opponents, dungeon groups, legion members and part of its community.

That collective experience is one of the reasons why I thought a discussion about long-term progression could be worthwhile.

Whether this specific proposal is the right solution is, of course, open to debate.

I don't expect everyone to agree with it.

I only ask that it be evaluated based on what is actually written rather than on assumptions about my intentions or arguments I have never made.

At the end of the day, none of us here has the final decision.

We are simply sharing different perspectives in the hope that the EuroAion team can take them into consideration when thinking about the future of the server.

But of course, you'll ignore all the logical and truthful references I've made, you'll ignore every point in my message, and you'll twist everything to try and claim absolute truth, because it's clear you have an ego you need to feed, but you know you'll never succeed, because nobody is ever absolutely right.

I tried to keep my composure and focus on the topic of the post, but my patience with toxicity has its limits. This will be the last time I waste my time responding to you. And I suggest, and politely request, that everyone who wants to contribute to the post focus on the topic and not make this user the center of attention, which is exactly what he wants. Thanks.

Alright, okay. Let's start with the fact that you're writing a whole lot of text for someone who supposedly has nothing to do with AI-generated spam. The motive, I get it — it built up, you want to get it all out as fast as possible.

So what's next... next is some advice on the actual topic. It's about trying to keep your points concise, not clogging up the chat. Being informative matters. Ask yourself, friend — to what end? You've already laid out the idea, and you've even summed it up a few times already. So none of this is new.

Hello. I just read the entire suggestion and the subsequent responses from other users.

The first thing to note about the responses is that all the users focused on the suggestion and the message the OP wrote, and gave their opinions in accordance with what was written, except for this user, Lorisen, who, as the OP pointed out, from the very first messages only sought to belittle the suggestion and clearly provoke and humiliate the OP with that clear pattern of sarcasm and specific pronouns used against him.

I believe that you can always have a different opinion; you can disagree with someone, but expressing an opinion on something is always acceptable if it is done respectfully and appropriately. And in general, I quite agree with the OP's opinion that we shouldn't give him more attention than he deserves.

Regarding the suggestion itself, after playing on this server for at least five years, having met hundreds of thousands of different players, and also based on my own experience, I can't disagree with any of the points suggested.

One of the factors that most influences a player's longevity in an MMORPG or any game is the feeling of progress, of evolution, of advancement, you know, that feeling when you finally obtain something through your consistency and effort, and you mentally say: YES, I DID IT! That effect is like a drug; it's an addiction you simply can't escape.

On this server, due to the extremely harsh and extreme RNG, many players, after many months or even years of trying to obtain a weapon, an accessory, or a piece of armor from one of the PvE instances, feel completely blocked and unable to make meaningful progress despite their consistency. Even if they are consistent, active, and run most of the endgame PvE instances daily, they achieve absolutely nothing, they don't advance at all, so their motivation to stay gradually diminishes until they quit the game. Personally, I've seen hundreds of cases like this. I myself was on the verge of giving up and quitting the game after more than a year of farming and grinding like crazy and never getting any useful item.

I firmly believe that an implementation like this would result in a much more balanced server in terms of the gap between new and veteran players, a generally more active server, and much more satisfying and challenging endgame content for everyone.

By the way, an interesting thought experiment — what if you asked the community directly: would you want a guaranteed full set of mythic gear right now, or in a very short, foreseeable timeframe. Most people would probably say yes. Would that mean it's the right decision for the server's long-term health? Probably not. So player opinions matter, but they also come with consequences. If this idea doesn't get implemented, I don't think anything bad happens. At the same time, there's a real chance the change could turn out beneficial. And if it does get implemented, that's fine too. Either way, it'll be a considered decision made by people who actually know what they're doing.

Not much else to add here, think we've chewed through this enough already. Anyway, that's my take. Good luck with whatever you all decide.

Hey, I recently started playing Euroaion and I just saw this suggestion. It's one of the best I've seen in any MMORPG I've played before.

I completely agree that implementing this would have a hugely positive impact on all aspects of the server.
Many of the things you've mentioned include reducing and balancing the massive gap between new and veteran players, increasing activity in both PvP and PvE for all instance types and even sieges, and most importantly, preventing many players from quitting the game due to lack of motivation or constant frustration from being stuck or blocked in their gearing progress.

But I want to add something else very important to that list: the economy. Yes... the ECONOMY! 😬

The simple fact that this implementation would increase activity across all types of content would also lead to an increase in the overall farming of mana stones, enchantment stones, divine stones, and all kinds of items needed to upgrade equipment and weapons. This would have an even more positive consequence for the server's success compared to other private servers: as the number of items farmed and offered for sale increases, the demand for Kinah would rise, and consequently, the need to buy E-coins to sell for Kinah. From what I've recently learned on this server, this is one of the best ways to acquire Kinah while simultaneously supporting the server.
Seriously, this idea is brilliant. Anyone who doesn't see all the potential advantages and results needs to think about it a bit more! 😳

Please, Euroaion team, analyze all of this and take Euroaion to the next level! 🙏

I really like that you've brought up another perspective that hadn't been mentioned yet: the server's economy.

I hadn't thought about the possible impact on trading, Kinah circulation and overall market activity, but I think it's a very interesting point worth considering alongside player retention and progression.

One of the best things about this discussion is seeing different players contribute different perspectives. Thank you for adding yours.

Why are they spamming from fresh forum accounts?

I think you've highlighted one of the most important aspects of this suggestion: the feeling of meaningful progress. In my opinion, that's one of the strongest motivations in any MMORPG.

Challenge and effort are essential, but it's equally important to feel that consistent dedication is always moving you one step closer to your goal.

Like you, I've also met many players over the years who genuinely enjoyed EuroAion but eventually left because they felt their effort had stopped translating into any real progress.

Whether this proposal is the right solution or not is, of course, for the EuroAion team to decide, but I really appreciate you sharing your experience. Discussions like this become much more valuable when they include different perspectives from the community.

Throughout all the years I've been playing EuroAion, I've seen similar suggestions many times on Discord and elsewhere and they fell on deaf ears, but they never made them as precise and elaborate as this.
It's remarkable how much community support such a focused suggestion for the common good and server balance has received in such a short time, and I hope it continues to gain more support from other players, because the more it receives, the more attention it will attract from the administrators, and perhaps this time they'll decide to take action. GG.
