Pozeidon 1 Posted November 7 hi, since the windows 11 update (24h2) I can no longer launch the game, only in 32-bit version it works, does anyone have an idea?
Red 9 Posted November 7 Hello, If you already installed this update to your system and the game won't start, you'd want to start the game in the 32 bit mode. For now this is the only option. You can choose this option in the launcher settings. ActiveAnticheat developers are already working on solving this problem. 22 минуты назад, Pozeidon сказал: hi, since the windows 11 update (24h2) I can no longer launch the game, only in 32-bit version it works, does anyone have an idea? TestingX37 0 Posted November 13 So - it's actually due to version 24H2 of Windows 11. Anyone who has downloaded and installed this "update" has not done an update, but has installed a completely new Windows. This can easily be seen by running the Windows disk cleanup - that's where you'll find "windows.old" ("Datenträgerbereinigung" auf Deutsch). With 24H2, Microsoft has changed the core of Windows. The new kernel of Windows 11 is now called "Germanium" and parts of Aion or the anticheat are apparently not quite working with it. I was able to reproduce it on several computers belonging to friends and on my own. On computers with automatic updates and DDR5, this update was installed automatically and Euroaion no longer ran there, neither as a 64-bit nor a 32-bit version. I myself have a DDR4 system and have deactivated automatic updates - so I'm on W11 23H2 - no problem. Yesterday I got an ISO of 24H2 and did an in-place upgrade. Everything is running great - except for Euroaion. After downgrading back to 23H2 - Euroaion is running again. So it's clear what you can do yourself maybe just take the opportunity to completely reinstall and configure your own computer to have a "fresh" system

However, all the users with this system report that the game does start in 32bit client. This issue has already been reported to the active anticheat team, so we have to wait for their reports on it. Maybe it is also related to the language-Version; my windows is set to german language because i am german. In the 24H2 Euroaion does not work in the 32-bit version also, tested on now 5 Pc`s of friends. With going back to 11 23H2 it works. But there are some difficulties. U have to stop your windows not doing an update to 24H2. On newer PC-hardware it maybe that u got this update automatically if you dont block windows from doing it. In PRO-Versions of windows 10&11 u can do settings, that your windows only take updates for 23H2-version. In home-version u have to set up orders in the windows-registry. I can make a "how to do" for it if somebody want to know how to do this. But english is not my preferred language, so it will take some time to do it. I think i can make a how to do in german with pictures and everyone has to translate it into own language. I hope, that i can upload many pictures here in the forum, for step by step doing it for the pro and home version of windows. I think today in the late evening this will be ready. in the meantime i have to reset the PC`s ( new installation) of 2 friends of mine^^. Sorry for my bad english. mostafa76 11 Posted November 16 32 bit version works for me and I disabled windows update from group policy and services From Services: in windows 11, windows update service is called "wuauserv" in the service tab by opening task manager, right click on it and choose "stop", then you have to click on "Open Services" in the right top corner of the task manager window, navigate to the "Windows Update" service, double click or right click it and choose properties, change the Start Type to "disabled". From Group Policy: activate the run command by pressing and holding windows logo + R key, type "gpedit.msc", navigate to "Administrative Templates >> Windows Components >> Windows Update >> Manage end user experience" in the right panel choose "Configure Automatic Updates", double click it and choose "disabled". TestingX37 0 Posted November 29 What you have done is stop ALL Windows updates - that could become uncomfortable at some point. Take a closer look at the "group policies" and read them. You can write that you only want updates for 23H2. Then you will continue to receive all the important and security updates, but your Windows will remain on 23H2 Sorry that I'm only getting back to you now, I was in hospital for a few days. What you need in the group policies is called "Target version Info". There you can set that you want to stay on 23H2 as shown in the picture, but still get all the important updates that are available. This setting does not prevent all updates, it just prevents going to 24H2.
