in future patches sm is the counter of at but i really don't see how at can lose to sm in this patch.
You dont see it , because you dont play the class. Sm has all the tools to beat an AT. Bind cover, dots,slows, nuke skill when they rooted,multiple debuffs, attck speed debuff ,etc. Resists are based on stun resistances and other shock resistances. The stun is never at 50% unless you have both Trauma plate and Stability Thrusters then its up there at 50% but to use them together is foolish vs this match up and if you do you've already lost the fight before it even started.I get almost always stunned by a geared sm. If youre not geared enough then the chances are always higher to resist more. This is normal. The match up is not impossible for us. But its hard because sms have multiple chances to stop an AT if they fail option one they have option two. The At has less options to fail or make a mistake inside the fight.
For example we have to save our Stability Thrusters untill the sm has used shackle of vulnerability so we could remove shackle completely and often they try to cover it so we have to be very fast into dispelling it with Stability Thrusters or we end up in a very bad position. Because shackle kills our attack speed. You could see it like a second bind ,its that bad. If we get close the sm can still cast instant fear or fear shriek. And we also have to save Drillbore for command spirit shield, and thats not even their only shield. Sm Has way more options then Ats in this fight .

In Open world it's powerful but you have a better chance in ow then in duels with no obstacles since you can cancel sleep (hitting mobs), by using your surroundings to your advantage. Don't get me wrong. In duels sorcs are very powerful. But unlike you , Kajumi is at least not a complete random but a known player.

Slideshots are all about timing. It's not harder to slide on lower ping, that's just an illusion in the human mind. The reason why it's so hard for you to slide at 16-19 ms is because the response time from the server towards your character is most likely on a different speed and perhaps also faster. When I went to Notaion recently for some testing , I've noticed it as well. All skills are much faster with almost no delay in between skills, I don't even need to animation cancel as much like I'm doing here in Euroaion. The auto attack is so cut off in there that I needed 10 min to figure out the timing for the slideshots on 20 ping. The best way and fastest way for me personally is just going to dummies and try to slide there, you'l figure it fast. Just remember the beat and the timing each time you succeed.

I agree if we are talking about Infinity shard. Since the party is with 12, you can't just carry multiple ungeared players in a 12 man with your dps alone. But for the majority of instances not much gear is needed actually. If you're really ungeared as fuck, I advise you to run Sauro and IO to get some parts or weapons.

Dagoma is the best gunner on the server by far. To put Tommy, a random above him is quite concerning. Remember also, Dagoma dominated 3v3 Arena and 1v1 since the beginning of the Arena multiple seasons. He was the only player I couldn't win against in 1v1 Arena.
Just use common sense when evaluating someone's performance.

And lets be both real for a second there's probably like 20-30 players that actually know how to play their class well on our server, and have the experience and the mechanics needed to perform well in pvp. But I believe the same results would apply for retail statistics. A ''retail'' like server offers the complete package of the game. So obviously people don't join the server just for the aspect of pvp, that would be absolutely ridiculous, and it's completely normal to have a 1% playerbase that is really skilled. In other games this percentage is even lower (for example ->LoL 0,04% are Grand Master). And of course the numbers are much higher in League of Legends, but it's just a comparison. And the way that Aion works is you have to complete Pve in order to get PvP gear. So there's not really any round about to that. I believe Aion is just more designed on it's own to focus much more on the Pve Aspect, but of course they added quite a bit of PvP content through out the patches. To please every player. Our server isn't fantastic or skilled but it's also definitely not the worst in terms of player skill.

Every class has the chance to get all sets and beeing prepared with sets for all situations and use them with brain. Thats by faar not as expensive as getting +5 accs - which are allowed. So literally u say ppl that are too lazy in gettin accusets and instead put they money into +4-+5 accs dont get their natural punishment - instead you punish ppl that prepare well. But then u allow composite-defsets - since u dont allow accusets(accusets dont increase dmg so they are no dps sets) u need a composite-accuset - what is kind of more rare then a normal accu set.
DPS sets are just fine - ofc. Lets imagine u have a Cleric vs SM - Sm starts fearlock ggwp. dps set did not bring any dmg. But if cleric had full mRes vs SM - he might deal way more dmg than in his dps-set... so in this case - the mRes set transists to the better dps set. If its gettin skilled both classes start switching between their sets isntead of roflcopter fearlock u mustn't use a defset.
using sets do doge certain spells like fears/silences/sleeps is kind of way more skilled, than "watch my silence procced" - duel is won. esp in other matchups like sm vs sm and things like that. doge coversilenve by fast switch or the fear when the other sm was too lazy to switch to mAccu. By limiting sets - u bring a huge limit to skill-lvl in this event.
Especially in this kind of tournament - where u choose ppl/classes against each other by captain - there is aboluteley NO point in limiting sets - if u have an mRescleric there - oh well he might win 1 duel due to his set - captain shots mage next who has freewin vs cleric - so wheres the point in limiting sets? This would even take out skill in planning/counteringorder of classes announced by captains.

It seems you don't know how Korean Style Tournaments work. Let me explain it to you. There is a captain for both factions. One side summons a player that the captain chooses, the other captain summons a player that he chooses and this allows the second captain for a potential counter pick. This is how it should work, counter picking your opponent with another player that excels against this particular class. Korean Style is a tactical team game. And there are no room for errors. Now if you would add some extra random number generated values in this already in short ''RNG'' ruled game. Then my friend the outcome would be completely out of someone's reach because of the factor that this person can reach up to 50% random resists against magical skills. This Magic Resist allows some classes to profit from it extremely well giving them the upperhand of recovering faster in situations they shouldn't. So why should you compare tempered accessories when these people worked hard for it. And comparing it with a set that resists skills randomly is just nonsense. There is no counterplay against random resists if the opponent doesn't have this Magical Accuracy set. While accessories are accessible much faster for everyone a second set isn't that easy to get fast. So I'm completely agreeing with Bambiches point of view. And to be honest, I don't even care what the rules are. Just the fact that Bambiche wants to host a Race vs Race Korean Style is amazing.

That's not a cheat but a visual bug. It happens but not often in open world. You were just simply unlucky. With the teleport cheat they actually fall to the ground and get back into the sky it also looks really funny. This person is just appearing and disappearing, as it happened to me and my friends many times before. I can say confidently that this is a bug.

This is not a tactic. And it's not allowed as @TheAlmighty said , I really hope that action will be taken by atleast removing them from the ranking or receiving a temporarily ban . So he understands what he did, because scumbags like this will just repeat it or show other players that it's allowed and being used as a '' tactic '' as you say. I advice players like this to get better at the game, learn the matchups instead of Teaming/ Wintrading and sucking each others dicks off in glory to get points.

I think you had enough Vodka for today my friend, I watched the video completely now. And from what I've seen with VIDEO PROOF is that contestant 1 is always attacking the same target as Contestant 2 and lets Contestant 2 (Razor) get the points from the target and lets it kill the target. I haven't seen a single part were the Ranger was attacking the cleric or vica versa. Stop talking shit about attacking on a weaker player. They were clearly NOT ATTACKING each other AT ALL. Because Emenems was 3rd placed and the Sorc was not even doing anything so most likely the sorc gave up or was also a part of this Teaming setup. From the perspective of Razor it actually makes zero sense why he didn't focus the Cleric because he would have gotten more points for killing the cleric then killing Emenems as the chanter or the sorc would even give nothing to him at all, yet he focuses the sorc and the chanter which are the bottom of the ranking inside. I understand that this happens once or twice. But a 3min long video showing that it's happening all the time in this arena is just pure horseshit. And both are not even targeting each other. It's just too obvious. and not by coincidence of attacking a '' weaker player '' and this teaming should be punished. That's it. And don't tell me that Razor got in one day 153k points through fair and square fights in Glory as a ranger. I've seen him play. He's not better then Qinzz or even close to his lv. Yet he gets First Glory with 150K+ points all in one single day as a ranger. Please stop with the nonsense. It's all recorded and shown in the link.

I was wondering how Razor got out of nowhere First rank. And the first thing that came into my mind was teaming. Well it seems, I was not wrong. I've seen this ranger in ow and he's average at best. With his skill lv it's unlikely for him to even reach top 3 in glory without teaming. And this should be punished without mercy.

Yeah, it's commonly known, that the sick bastards are getting pleasure dominating and humiliating the weak, that cannot offer any resistance. It was not necessary to confirm that here.
So at the moment this is the only open world pvp we have since a lot of new players are ungeared but some already have BM and in this compilation we also fought officers , but I guess you and Tia are too blind to see that. And what you're saying basically is I should have pleasure in getting zerged by 10+ players regardless of gear. So I should just let them kill me without fighting back? Is that what you want to tell me sir ? If you go Open World you would attack anyone regardless of rank or gear and don't tell me you won't because that's absolute horse shit . Some would hide details or skin it. My Friend (Versus) had also BM gear so honestly there is no need to complain about this since he is also ''ungeared'' . There is no way to tell every single time how geared someone really is. So what you say makes absolutely zero sense. When I played at day 4 of the server opening and when I reached 65 after a while I already dominated some players that had Full BM when I had starter gear with 1,8k Magic boost. But nobody called me a sick bastard or made a compilation out of it. , I feel honored for your words and I wish you good luck in your Sauro Adventures with Tia because because that's as far as you're going to get in the game.
I remember the other day I fought a bard and he basically couldn't even get my hp to 70% with full BM gear. The outcome was 20+ wins and 0 losses for me.
So I told him he needs practice

There's no need to take this vid seriously. I was one of those players that got farmed by geared officers in retail. I just simply love pvp no matter where. Also, we both got zerged a lot in 2v10 for example which is not shown clearly in this vid.. And besides that. There is nothing for me to prove or to show on this server. I beat 99,9% of the server in 1v1... Just check the seasonal rankings on glory /discipline if you have any doubt. Just enjoy the vid and don't take it seriously or personally. We both got zerged a lot and this was our first large scale ow pvp fights in months on this server. It was just really fun for everyone. Even for the new players that made alliances just for the sake of ow pvp.

I can't believe what I'm actually witnessing I payed multiple times for the server and supported it since day 4 of release. I lost my mind there once. But I received no warning, nothing. Whoever did this should reconsider it's actions. It's fine if you give me a first warning and delete my post in #suggestions. But to go as far as banning me is absolutely ridiculous. I'm really starting to lose my patience and trust in this server. If you won't unban me. I'l sell my account and leave for good.
3 reasons why I should have left by now :
1: Nobody helped me when I was ranked first in Harmony before season reset, even Kym acknowledged it and other people that I got first before reset. Yet I was being placed as #2 on the season ladder. I received a scrn shot with no actual time on it. Also a nice way for editing out the time left on the upper right corner. It was a good '' proof'' to make me laugh. @TheAlmighty
2 : Nobody helped me when not just me but our whole legion got involved and lost the ownership of it. All because of one person having fun deleting someones belongings on his account that he spend 4 months or more building up. All destroyed in one day. You could have atleast given us back the legion. But no, none of that.
3 : Discord banned for talking shit about the owner just once. People are doing it all the time. And what I said was the truth. Even now you are being depicted as lazy and not by me , will you ban half of the server as well for talking badly about you behind your back ? You didn't even tell anyone about my ban. It looks more of a dictatorship then a staff team you builded up there. And if you can't deal with criticism then, you're in bad luck. Cause it will happen again. And again,and again...By some other upset players . Gameforge doesn't care if I flame them . I call their staff a zoo or baboons and apes. They even try to calm me down, cause they know I supported their server and payed over 3000 Euro's. Even though I am using harsh words it is meant in a good way. To wake them up and to wake you up in this case . Because I really do care for the server and what you're doing now is wrong. You don't seem to care for the players at all. When I first started playing here after a while I noticed how nobody is really involved in Ingame affairs from the staff like the only one I've seen play a little bit was Antonio. And I am in fact happy to have him in the staff since he understands what the players want and need. But in the end it seems like the owner decides everything. And I'l bet you will ban me for this Ingame as well or atleast delete this topic. I can already see steps ahead of your actions. Prove me wrong if you dare.
Thank you for reading this and also thank you for the discord ban. If nothing happens and if you don't care for a supportive player. Then why should I care?
The only thing I can do is to leave. As I am about to do anytime. I'm just done. I can't deal with this anymore. I'm highly discouraged unmotivated, frustrated and disappointed.

The reason why people dont think highly of ranger is because its heavy gear reliant. But mostly of all its by far the hardest class to play and probably to Master as well.
You need to practice slideshot , jumpshot mechanics, animation cancelling your skills. Perfect distancing and kiting towards and away from your opponent. I respect Good Rangers a lot , because I know that they've practiced a lot to get were they're at now. But dont be discouraged , you can look up some video's on youtube on how to slideshot , pvp rotations, I suggest you look up some video's of Kupyd and copy his style. The best ranger I've ever seen. The pvp meta for 6V6 group pvp is based of heavy single damage or aoe damage dealers like gunners and gladiators with 2 clerics and a cc class like a spiritmaster who can cc the opposite clerics or healers. Sadly I do not think that Ranger has any place in 6V6 , I believe its simply too inferior compared to other single target damage dealers. So sadly Rangers dont really have any space in a heavy competitive 6V6 environment. But its a great class to have fun with your friends in Open world or playing Solo. So dont be discouraged , this class just requires more practice, time and effort. But you can do it. Good luck!
