Hi 

I played a lot on Retail back then and wanted to play the "old" Aion again (the one I started with), but I don't know which class I want to play on Elyos.

I wanted to ask which class would be most preferred, or which class would be better for (most of the time) solo play: Templar, Chanter, SM, Gunner, or something else?

All classes are strong in their own way, in some situations less, in others more

SM and Gunner are more comfortable solo, unlike Templar and Chanter, who often need a group to reach their full potential.

Due to the ease of the class, gunner can be a great choice for a beginner.

Thank you, but my main concern is finding a group quickly, or rather getting invited along, for something like Sauro. I initially thought about playing a bard, but after so many years as a bard, I wanted to try something different.

 

I remember that back then, for example, two SMs were never taken along, and they were also relatively reluctant to participate in kata.

Any class is accepted in Sauro, standard group is a х1 healer and х3 damage dealers (usually four players form groups).

Yes, there's no point in taking two SM's, because they cancel each other's damage.

But situations where you can't join a party because of you will be second SM are so rare.
