I cannot edit my posts anymore, what could be the reason for that? Did I edit too much or did I unknowingly break a rule?

Ok now I see I can edit the former post. Is there maybe some algorithm involved that decides whether one can still edit?

The option to edit disappeares in some time after the post is created. This is made on purpose.
