Clien crashes after splash art

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I've been trying to get the game working for two days now. Basically what happens is I launch the game, the anti cheat popup appears, then the splash art appears and a couple of seconds later it closes and that's it. There's no error message, the game simply doesn't launch.

What I've tried so far:

1) reinstalling the client (I tried via the launcher, the torrent and the archives but the same problem persists)

2) Added the client to Windows Defender exclusions

3) Changing the installation directory

4) Running the client in 32 bit mode

I have installed DirectX, C++ and .Net Framework. I'm also running the client as administrator.

I don't know what else to try. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it!

PS: I'm not sure if that's relevant, but my specs are:

Processor: AMD Threadripper 1950x

Graphics Card: RTX 3080

64gigs of RAM

I tried running the game from an SSD, though as expected it did not help.

Hello,

The problem is caused due to your processor and the combination with windows 11. In order to start the game in 64 bit again, you have to deactive core isolation. You will find more about this, in this topic https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/device-protection-in-windows-security-afa11526-de57-b1c5-599f-3a4c6a61c5e2

If this does not help, repeat the steps from this topic

Thank you! I had to limit the number of cores to 8, as @LainX84 mentioned in his thread!
