I'm having this problem as well.

In-game char name: Savior

This didn't work. Are there any other fixes? I've tried just about every official fix, including what you suggested. Please help

Help, I've been getting the Error 1024 every time I try to launch the game now. I've tried just about every retail fix, and it hasn't done anything. Including the L10N fix, and reinstalling multiple times. I'm not sure what else to do :(.

NVM I found out what to do. It is fine now

Nothing in game is muted, sound mixer is on, everything else on the computer sounds fine. It took about 8 hours to install the game so I'm hesitant to redownload, but I will as last resort. The client says that some of my files are missing, but checking doesn't do anything. I reaaally would rather not spend another day with no internet to spare, help please.
