I agree that changing the game’s core graphics would not be possible without the source code. But I was referring more to the existing graphic options that seem to be locked at higher resolutions. From what was shared earlier in this topic, it looks like the limitation might be related to launcher/client parameters or anti-cheat compatibility, not necessarily to redesigning or redeveloping the graphics engine. So my only request is whether this specific limitation could be reviewed again from the official side, in a safe way. Maybe it is still not possible, and that is understandable. But I think it would be worth a fresh technical look.

March 2026, I wanted to bring this topic back for consideration. Aion still has beautiful visuals! ♥️, and with more players now using 1440p or higher resolutions, it would be great to know if there is any possibility to revisit the graphic settings limitation in a safe and official way. I understand this was discussed before and that Aion is an old game, so I am not asking for an immediate fix or encouraging any unofficial client modifications. I just wonder if, with current tools and AI-assisted development/debugging, this issue could be reviewed again from a fresh technical perspective 🙌 Maybe there is still no viable solution. But if there is any safe way to improve this through the launcher, client parameters, or official adjustments, I think many players would really appreciate it 👊. It’s a very useful way to keep track of game times alongside your personal schedule. I'm not reinventing the wheel, there isn't a official calendar like this, but I got the lack of understanding. Explained: I’m proposing this calendar because event times are usually published in the server’s time zone, which forces many players to manually convert them to their local time. For those of us in the Americas this can be especially inconvenient, but in reality the issue affects any player who isn’t in the same time zone as the server. The advantage of using Google Calendar is that each event automatically adjusts to the local time of whoever is viewing it. That way, no matter where a player is located in the world, they’ll see the correct time right away without needing to do any conversions or check if the schedule they knew is still the current one.

Personally, the reason I no longer log into the game is the following: There’s no point in going to sieges because players don’t really fight to conquer or defend them; they just go for GP. One possible fix would be resetting the fortresses back to Balaur before each siege. There are very few players spread across way too many (and very large) maps. I can’t help but feel the game is empty and lifeless. There should be a way of encouraging the few of us who still play to gather in the same area. This would make the game much more entertaining and fun. For example: an endgame map with rift access to all instances in the game, and an open PvP zone.
